We have been advising charitable organisations like associations, foundations and charitable companies (gGmbHs) for many years. The German statute intended to encourage voluntary work “Ehrenamtsstärkungsgesetz” has led to many new rules coming into force, primarily in the area of tax law, which are compelling executive committees and managing directors to review their articles of association and contracts and adapt them to the changed legal position.

In cooperation with our tax experts, we advise our clients in the drafting of contracts and represent them before the tax authorities and courts.
