Commercial Law and Distribution Law

We advise our clients in drafting the contracts customary in commercial law. Contracts frequently have to be prepared in both German and English, and qualified translators are available for these translations. International contracts may have to observe the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) or equally EU regulations.

When doing business on the German or European market, it is vitally important to have advice on whether to establish own branches or enter into contracts with commercial representatives, contractual dealers or perhaps commissioners.

Advice is also important for deciding whether to organize the logistics oneself or take advantage of skilled service providers in Germany or, for example, one of Europe's major duty-free ports.

We assist our clients, often with the aid of our cooperation partners and experts in Germany and other countries, in drafting contracts, but also in court or arbitration proceedings.
